What is Quids In Food Club?
Quids In Food Club is a sustainable, effective and innovative means of tackling food poverty, with the additional benefit of reducing food waste.
For just £4 per week, plus a £5 annual fee, Southway tenants can access £20 worth of fresh and chilled food per week.
Nonresidents can access the service for £10 annually, plus £6 per week.
Quids In is supplied by Fareshare, a Manchester-based redistribution charity that receives food donations from large supermarkets and suppliers.

How you can support Quids In
Your sponsorship subsidises the monthly fee members pay to Fareshare, with a little bit left over for wider community projects, such as:
Budgeting advice
Club members have access to professional budgeting services, including tips on saving, accessing deals, benefits, or cheaper services that help their money go further.
Growing your own
Quids In encourages the community to eat more fresh food and vegetables and learn from experts within our community gardens.
Cooking sessions
Club members get expert help to cook fresh ingredients, learning how to make quick, nutritious meals at a fraction of the price of ready meals.
Holiday Kitchens
Each summer, we sponsor a project that helps to relieve the pressure on families to source and cook food. For example, Holiday Kitchen provides families with breakfast and lunch, plus fun and educational activities.
