Our Internet Savvy course can help you with:

At the end of the course, Southway will pay half towards the cost of a laptop.

Internet access in your area
- You can see internet access spots in the Southway area in this map below
- You can find other free wi-fi spots in cafés, shops and other public spaces
- O2 Wi-Fi hotspots are widely available. Look for O2 Wi-Fi in your wi-fi settings and follow the instructions
- Other companies have hotspots too. Find them in your Wi-Fi settings
- Access the internet at our Head Office or any of our Community Centres

Coming soon: Affordable broadband
Next year, we’ll be offering cheap broadband. Our aim is to offer heavily discounted and perhaps even free broadband, with no contract, pay as you go basis.
We will start the scheme in Burnage, then roll it out to Didsbury, Withington and Chorlton.

Vodafone free SIM offer
As part of our commitment to get more tenants online, we’ve teamed up with Vodafone to offer free SIM cards to selected tenants. The benefits of these free SIMs are:
- Valid for 6 months
- Will work in mobile phones, tablets or dongles
- 20GB of free mobile data per month to access the internet
- Free calls and texts
